Shenandoah Supernova - Section B Welsh                                      

5/1/01 palomino Section B 13.1 hh. Shenandoah Supernova (aka Teddy) is a very willing and athletic young stallion, bred to excel as a sport pony. He has lovely conformation and a beautiful floating trot. His grandsire, Farnley Lustre is thought by many to be the pony Hunter/Jumper sire of the 20th century. The United States Equestrian Federation lists more than 20 of Teddy's relatives in the Pony Hunter Leading Sires 2003 list including his sire, Farnley Prelude - no. 78 and his dam's sire Benlea Rambler - no. 22 of the top 182 pony sires of all breeds. His relatives are equally well represented on the Pony Jumper Leading Sires 2003 list with his sire's half brother Longacre Spinoff as no. 1. His dam's full sister's USAEq Point Standings make her the National no.13 Welsh Pony Hunter. Teddy's half brother, Farnley Prelate, (Farnley Prelude x Farnley Primrose) recently sold at the Farnley and Shenandoah Production Sale for $35,500 as a started hunter pony. His sister Picatrix (Farnley Prelude x Aldira) was 4th place Hunter Pony Three Year Old Mare at Devon in 2005. Teddy has been started under saddle. Supernova has been sold to Diane Herger of Glynmagic Welsh  PEDIGREE
